This spring, 23 faculty, staff, and graduate students from the Department of Kinesiology and Health won the inaugural Desire2Move (D2M) department challenge by logging a total of 45736.15 minutes of physical activity. D2M was an 8-week team based physical activity competition between the Kinesiology and Health, Human Resources, and Recreation Center Departments. In addition, KH used the competition as a departmental fundraiser to provide cash rewards to our top 3 competitors. The top 3 KH competitors were: 1st place-Kyle Brandenberger (4206.76 minutes, center in the photo with his daughter), 2nd place-David Ferrer (3910.57 minutes, left in the photo), and 3rd place-Duke Biber (3826 minutes, right in the photo). Congratulations to all of the participants! We are looking forward to the 2nd annual competition coming in Spring 2015.
