Sport Medicine’s Faculty and Students Attend NATA Annual Meeting
The Graduate Sports Medicine Program had great representation at this year’s National Athletic Trainers’ Association 65th Annual Meeting in Indianapolis, Indiana this past June! Both Dr. Shelley Linens and Dr. Ben Goerger presented their research at the meeting along with six students from the program. Students Tyler Schuster and Steve Klein gave oral presentations related to unique patient cases they cared for as part of their clinical assignments. Two graduate students, Chris Leeds and Kendra Gardner collaborated on a Systematic Review project completed in the Evidence Based Sports Medicine course (KH 8900) and were finalists for the Master’s Student Poster Presentation Award given by NATA’s Research and Education Foundation.
